It saves time and money to have prison guards searching high school kids for drugs. This way if they find anything they can simply take the kids with them when they go back to the prison. This skips all the expenses involved in local jail housing, trial, court staff, and other related wastes of taxpayer resources.

The prison can immediately then start getting paid start rehabilitating the kids, it is a win-win proposition. You deranged liberals with all your expensive ideas about "Rights" and "The rule of law" are what is bankrupting this country!

Privatization: because for-profit entities totally won't abuse government powers delegated to them, neglect humanitarian practices available because of lack of oversight, nor creatively interpret their mandate to cut costs while charging more from their limited pool of consumers to maximize profits
