I congratulate the Palestinian people on their coming UN recognition and eventual emergence from foreign occupation.

2 researchok  Thu, Nov 29, 2012 12:36:11pm

The irony cannot be overlooked.

The only other states which have had UN Observer status have been Switzerland and the Vatican.

We shall see if the Palestinians shall live up to the standards set by those before them.

And it is 'racist' how? Being against Palestinians having a nation state is anti-racist? Your racial hatred of Palestinians is well understood.

Not that I think for a moment you really don't understand, but, lest any newbies to LGF be confused, it is racist in exactly the same way as is every other insinuation you have made that the population and leadership of the Jewish State is nothing more than a bunch of blond-haired, blue-eyed bunch of European colonizers subjugating the indigenous brown-skinned Palestinians.

We've heard that tune from your ilk for 2,000 years. We're still here. We're not going away. And we don't feel the need to apologize to you for our existence or for defending ourselves. Get used to it.

Not hating the Palestinians sufficiently=being an anti-Israel antisemite? What a joke.

the Palestinians could say the same.
"We're here, we're near, get used to it."

No one is threatening to drive the Arab Palestinians into the sea. No one is threatening the Arab Palestinians with ethnic cleansing.

A million Arab Palestinians have become full citizens of Israel with all the same rights and privileges as any other citizen.

We are already "used to it".

Currently Arab Palestinian residents (not even citizens) of East Jerusalem -- numbering over 350,000, or 38% of the city's total population -- already go about their daily lives, shop at Israeli malls, use Israeli services, frequent Israeli restaurants and bars, send their children to study at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and receive Israeli social and health benefits.

No hatred, no apartheid, no ethnic cleansing.

Clearly, then, Israel is not a Jewish state but a state with Jews in it like any other....

Your straw man arguing technique is boring already. Can't you troll somewhere else Jimmah?

Ice, Israel does not have a problem with the Palestinians being 'near'. Israel has a problem with the Palestinians firing artillery over the border into Israel. Israel does not wish to drive the Palestinians out, it wants them to stop attacking it. If the Palestinians really wanted peace, all significant violence between them and Israel would end in a day.

He's not trolling, EI. In my experience, Jimmah believes what he says.

Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...

Holder: We’ve Droned 4 Americans, 3 by Accident.
In an extraordinary admission, Attorney General Eric Holder has told Congress that U.S. drone strikes since 2009 have killed four Americans -- three of whom were "not specifically targeted." For all the effort that the Obama administration has gone to in asserting that its drones only kill the people that the administration intends to kill, Holder wrote in a letter today to Sen. ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer. And, shockingly, diseases that had in the past begun in old age are now appearing at much earlier ages. A groundbreaking scientific study showed how easily (and inexpensively) the rate of occurrence of these and other serious illness could be greatly reduced-- but this information ...
