This is stupid even for a dimwit like Fischer.

Nothing is too stupid for Fischer.

Touche but damn.

By extension, then Fischer has laid out a rationale for the legalization of marijuana. Well done Mr. Fischer, well done.

Logic like this is not meant to be extended. It exists only in the pea-shaped receptacle that holds his brain.

6 Aligarr  Fri, Nov 30, 2012 12:09:54pm

Truly stupifying ....seems like Fischer's reference to god is the Koch Bros. Maybe some one ought to remind him of the "other gifts " that the "fossil fuel gift " is destroying .

7 Jack Burton  Fri, Nov 30, 2012 12:16:29pm

Even if there were no ill-effects to fossil fuel use, this statement would still be moronic in it's conception and likely insulting to any religious person other than Fischer and his direct sycophants.

You would hear a higher level of discourse in an institution for the criminally insane.

I know, if you listen to Fischer, he'll stop loving a country because gays marry. If Fischer's idea of God is what God is then I don't know if I want to believe in God.

Is this what the god-soaked idiots think about all day?

12 EiMitch  Fri, Nov 30, 2012 12:57:34pm

Screw what the bible says. If the Rupert Murdoch pushes something, Fischer will find a way to rationalize that its god's will. And if it sounds stupid, so be it. Or to paraphrase Immanuel Kant, one must deny reason to make room for faith.

Right wing echo chamber, thy name is Fischer.

No, usually he spends all his time talking and thinking about all the "evil" homosexual sex that is going on. In a way this is a nice refreshing break from that...

It obviously means that King Leopold of Belgium was right to destroy the Congo and its inhabitants for the rubber and other natural resources. After all, the people there weren't exploiting the environment (or the people) to their maximum potential. Bonus win for callous white people.

If God truly wanted us to have the gift of fossil fuels, why did he locate most of it in Muslim countries?

So we can invade their countries and murder their citizens. Read your Old Testament. It's all in there.

By Fischer's "logic", why did it take until the late 19th century before oil was widely used? Must've been because those heathens were so disobedient to God's will.

Untrue. Marijuana can be justly banned because intoxicants give Jesus a sad.

re: #16 Fortitudine

He didn't. Most of it is coal and natural gas, found in China, USA, Russia, India. Plus uranium, found in the Congo and Russia and Canada etc. Also peat. Clearly it was God's will that the Cherokee, the Yakuts, the Zulu, and the Lapps should prosper. Or something.

Fischer is so much closer to God than the rest of us, to discern His will so clearly. //
