Pain is for the little people.

You know, I was keen on Corker when he first ran in 2006, because he ran as a "conservative", but, over the years, as my political views have changed, I cooled on Corker, especially from 2008 on.

He's had his lucid, sensical moments lately, but this is not one of them,

He does have a comprehensive plan, though. It's not the greatest thing ever but it is workable and would cut the deficit.

It's an absolutely fucking terrible plan that would dick the middle and lower class over for the sake of the wealthy.

Which is what the GOP is going to keep proposing we do.

Seem as if its just a continuation of what the GOP has done to the American working classes for the last thirty or forty years really.

The GOP can take their vouchers and shove them up their asses.

That's because their only idea IS to dick over the middle class and the poor for the sake of the wealthy. For the GOP, the wealthy are the only people who matter.

Hmm...

“This is not to inject ourselves into the negotiations. We realize that the deal that is going to happen will be between exactly two people: Obama and Boehner. . . . There’s nothing that’s going to happen on the Senate floor — I don’t think — that matters,” he says. “We wrote this bill to do nothing but point out to the only two people that matter that anything short of solving this problem is a complete failure.”

Speaking for oneself, we tend to not trust the ideas of people who start referring to themselves in the third person. Just call it one of our little quirks, that perhaps rightly takes into account the persons obviously overinflated sense of self-importance. We take such matters seriously because to us they show a lack of proper grounding to reality that we expect from our elected representative.

Shorter version: Bob Dole is that you?
