It's old hat for singers and bands to produce a Christmas song or two. Most are forgettable, or at best just mall music fodder. This song is the great exception; It's a song that ought to be placed alongside traditional carols like "Silent Night" and "Joy to the World", such is its power. It's not overtly anything, except that it is pro-human and hopeful. And in being such, it exemplifies true Christmas Spirit better than any other recent Christmas song.
