Mississippi is the GOP's model for the nation. Severely underfunded public sector leaving the poor suffering and trapped, while people with means take care of themselves.

Yes, vouchers help schools be segregated.

There are schools of this type in some rural areas of GA, and in some cities. I live in Middle GA, and some white parents here work three jobs to be able to afford to send their kids to private schools because they swear that the public schools are full of black thugs, although this is not the case. I taught in local area schools for over 30 years until 2009, and I encountered students who were trouble prone from every racial, socioeconomic, and ethnic group, and I had students from each category who were highly successful and some who never reached their educational potential in my POV. I also encountered students who transitioned from private schools to the public high school where I worked who said that the public school was better because of its expanded curriculum, the variety of AP courses, and the fact that in their junior and senior years of high school, they could elect to take college classes and earn college credits before graduating.

Yes, vouchers help schools be segregated.

The fact that the voucher system was designed to put taxpayer money into segregated schools was one of the reasons that the Louisiana voucher system was struck down as unconstitutional.

Growing, Lurking Threat: ‘Paper Terrorism’
How do you stop one anti-government extremist from coordinating a trillion dollar "paper terrorism" scheme involving a raft of false financial documents, or deal with another who sues prosecutors for allegedly conspiring against him by using poor grammar? The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration's credibility deeply, ...
