Actually, WBC has done what no one else has been able to-brought virtually everyone in the country, right and left, all religions and none, together in disgust at their actions. If they keep on much longer people will have standard strategies for dealing with them, such as volunteers "walling them off" from mourners at funerals and simply making fun of them at protests.
