Deputy Killed in Line of Duty Laid to Rest
An eastern Missouri deputy killed in the line of duty has been laid to rest.
Funeral services Wednesday in Potosi for 31-year-old Christopher Parsons were attended by law enforcement officers from throughout the region.
Parsons was a Washington County deputy. He shot to death Saturday while responding to an emergency call. After a 15-hour manhunt, 30-year-old Gary Sancegrow was arrested. He is charged with first-degree murder and other crimes.
