Sounds to restrictive to me.

I think it will be insanely great. The only problem I see is that they can't call it the iTV because that's the name of a UK TV network. I guess Apple could always sue them for using that name 60 years before Apple thought of it.

That sounds like a perfectly reasonable application of US intellectual property law.

(I wish I could put some // here, but I really can't. US law really is this screwed up)

re: #2 Skip Intro

Couldn't Apple call it iVision or iTube?

As for speculation:

1 - I'm going with iTube for the name.

2 - the iTube's User License Agreement will include forgoing all of your civil liberties and be punished for breach of contract by being subjected to a single, random Katy Perry song stuck on infinite loop.

3 - iTube will censor all adult material by automatically redirecting the user to Gangnam Style. Because nothing kills the mood like the Korean Macarena.

4 - iTube will kill children who watch the exact same show three times in a row.

5 - On Steve Job's birthday, iTube will hack the pentagon and command all drone aircraft to kill anyone with the name "Gates."

6 - Start saving your money now because iTube will charge you hundreds of bucks per episode of Breaking Bad.

7 - Anonymous will hack iTube. iTube will retaliate on Jobs' next birthday.

8 - Once anonymous is dead, the Chinese military will exploit a backdoor they ordered Foxconn to install in every iTube. Enjoy spending the rest of your life in a sweatshop or a coalmine.
