The spambot is going to be the most prolific poster on the site before long.

I love that movie. If the 101st chairborn had to go up against an actual NYC gang, they would get their asses handed to them in the proverbial NY minute.

It’s a good movie of its period. Well done in story and well acted, as well as a real reminder of what New York City used to be. These days there’s around 34,000 police officers in the NYPD (a 70% increase over 1979) and things have much improved, but its worth remembering the way things were.

It can’t give a shit about anything. It’s a bot.

I’d punch Aigle in the face for constantly spamming this blog, but I can’t. Because you can’t punch a bot.

Aigle can’t have a momma. It’s a bot. Bots don’t have mommas.

Didn’t say it had a momma, just that it calls something ‘momma’!

re: #6 Varek Raith

I have no objection to Aigle’s posts. Just as I have no objections to the Amazon deal of the day posts, the SCA cartoon posts, or the 10 best/worst of anything posts at Wired and Cracked that frequent this site. Every now and then, I find one of the cartoons funny and some of the lists interesting. Likewise, I find Aigle’s posts illuminating. Downdinging him because of the frequency of it or the automation of it is disingenuous and hypocritical if you do not downding the SCA cartoons as well.

Sundays With the Christianists: A Biology Textbook That Explains Science Is Mostly Atheists Making Things Up
there is no history of evolution recorded either by man or by fossils. This lack of evolutionary records does not disturb most evolutionists because they believe they have a model of how evolution took place. This model is often illustrated by a phylogenetic tree -- a line-up of organisms based on how they are supposedly related in an attempt to show the path ...

Your Weekly Peggy Noonan Three Martini Column
We are in the midst of the worst Washington scandal since Watergate. The reputation of the Obama White House has, among conservatives, gone from sketchy to sinister, and, among liberals, from unsatisfying to dangerous. No one likes what they're seeing. The Justice Department assault on the Associated Press and the ugly politicization of the Internal Revenue Service have left the administration's credibility deeply, ...

4 Things We Should Remember When Arguing About Politics
Political discourse in America has reached levels of douchebaggery previously only theorized about but never observed, like conversational dark matter. We're in a whole new world of hating people based solely on their opinions on a few key issues, and since this is unexplored territory, our conversations about politics are usually only a couple notches beyond the "hold your breath until the other ...
