This is abuse of the pages. The idea of PAGES is for members of LGF to create their own sub-blogs here in order to discuss with other members. A spambot which does nothing but spam links to an external blog without participating in the conversation is abusing LGF.

I disagree. I use the pages to share stories of interest to me that I believe others may like to read. Whether anyone discusses those stories is another matter entirely. I wish that they would, but my sense of self-worth is not diminished if they do not. Likewise, I find most of Aigle’s posts of interest. I would generally not go out and read the CAMERA site directly. So I appreciate the posts.

If aigle was a real person who actually hangs out and engages in conversation I would have no problem with these pages. But since it spams and scrams it is abusing a feature of LGF that really belongs to the folks who participate here.

Let me make a suggestion. You, Buck, can subscribe to Camera and ask them to be their front man on LGF. Then you can post pages to your heart’s content, and add your commentary. Then we will see whether people tend to agree or disagree.
