Fun Fact:

Apparently the Free Syrian Army found 5,000 of those, and they are now being used in the Syrian Civil War.

Where in the hell did they find/get those?

You call yourself a pro Bosnia liberal and you can’t figure that out? Same place the Bosnian Muslims found their WW2 surplus weapons when the break up of Yugoslavia happened - from arms left behind by the Germans or sold or given to Yugoslavia and Syria as surplus arms by the Soviets and have been in crates ever since. I just saw Egyptian police wearing “fritz” helmets in a recent video clip that I am sure were given to them either by the Soviets or the western allies as WW2 surplus.

Does this mean that you can’t drive a cheap, compact car like a Volkswagen? That company, literally the “people’s car” was created under the auspices of Hitler himself to be a cheap, compact, affordable car for the masses. Does this make Accord owners into Nazis?

By this logic of guilt by association with order of invention, does this mean that British, Russian, Chinese and French made atomic weapons are really American because we developed them first?

Don’t get me wrong. I am in no means saying that civilians need military grade hardware like all the assault rifles descended from the Sturmgewehr (the AK 47 being an obvious knock off). However, this post is stupid. Don’t dilute the sensible argument that random fools don’t need these guns any more than they need rocket launchers with hyperventilating Godwins.
