Then why are guns a relatively new invention? If guns are God’s will then why didn’t the early Christians have them? This is the problem. Guns are seen on religious terms. If you see them for what they actually are, it’s easier to have a conversation about this even if you may disagree on the specifics of policy but if you see your second amendment and your Bible as being one and the same……..

Whatever that number is, they are used to defend human life,” he explained. “They are used to defend our property and our families and our faith and our freedom, and they are absolutely essential to living the way God intended for us to live.”

I am pretty sure Jesus said to give up your property and give up your family and give up the sword and follow him.

Someone should mention to this lawmaker that the supernatural doesn’t actually exist, and the jig will be up as soon as someone asks him to present evidence that the supernatural, much less the Christian god have any connection to reality.

The supernaturalists always fail to present evidence for their outlandish claims.

Fortunately the atavists here in California are in a true minority in state politics, and they know it, so all they have left is to whine.

So much of this rhetoric is to pacify the base and the contributors. Politicans trying to justify their election to their voters and gain ground for the next election.

Politics is a game.

The one with the most votes wins.

It’s not a meritocracy.

Its true! Without their guns, how else were Adam and Eve able to live in the Garden of Eden with the Diny-sores?
