Sarah Palin-the expert on saying something that sounds good but means absolutely nothing.

2 freetoken  Sat, Jan 26, 2013 4:29:07pm

Sarah’s market value is decaying akin to 95mTc.

We can’t just preach to the choir; the message of liberty and true hope must be understood by a larger audience.

So most Americans think America has no hope and is not free and like it that way and Sarah has to smuggle Bibles to them like we did during the Cold War to Russia?

Everything this woman says sounds like something written by a fifth grader to pad out an essay question.

5 FemNaziBitch  Sat, Jan 26, 2013 5:32:02pm

What if the Choir Members are the only ones who will listen.

How else are you going to earn a living, Sarah?

Well her eldest son filed for divorce, so she might be able to get him a reality show.

Yep, they are the Poster All-American Dysfunctional, but Good-Looking White Family.

If she’s on Breitbart, she’s really hitting the bottom of the barrel…

In the Q&A — which consisted of three questions

Three questions? I hope she got them all in advance. Who could possibly have answers for three questions from an enthusiastic supporter without weeks of study and preparation?

re: #9 Skip Intro

Three questions?

How much did they pay her per question, I wonder.

I don’t know, but after reading her rambling responses I can only assume she got paid by the word.

A grifter has to grift, or how to con your way into 6 figures? What a sweet day when when this gaseous chuckle head just goes all the way away.

Since when did being good-looking and white require functionality?

14 moderatelyradicalliberal  Sat, Jan 26, 2013 9:14:39pm

Someone needs to explain to Sarah that we heard her loud and clear.

re: #13 moderatelyradicalliberal

It’s more a matter of white-washing the dysfunction.

Translation:

Rupert Murdoch no longer wished to pay her an exorbitant salary in exchange for a few banal commentaries, and the Whining Wannabe from Wasilla needs more green in order to maintain the lifestyle to wish she has become accustomed. Hence her quest to “share more broadly the message of the beauty of freedom” … to the highest bidder.

I suspect she is not prepared for the forthcoming disappointment.

Sorry, Sarah … but the American people have spoken.
And they have said “Thanks, but no thanks” to your political career to nowhere.

17 Aligarr  Sun, Jan 27, 2013 6:53:26pm

They’ll be waiting for her at Breitbart with open arms , vacant heads and empty pockets .

Oklahoma students know less about evolution after Biology I than they did before taking it
If this is true, its utterly shameful and I fear for the future of America! Scott Kaufman reports, A study published in the latest edition of Evolution: Education and Outreach demonstrated "the average student...completed the Biology I course with increased confidence in their biological evolution knowledge yet with a greater number of biological evolution misconceptions and, therefore, less competency in the subject." The study, ...

A 12-Year-Old’s Trek of Despair Ends in a Noose at the Border
Noemi Álvarez Quillay took the first steps of the 6,500-mile journey to New York City from the southern highlands of Ecuador on Tuesday, Feb. 4, after darkness fell. A bashful, studious girl, Noemi walked 10 minutes across dirt roads that cut through corn and potato fields, reaching the highway to Quito. She carried a small suitcase. Her grandfather Cipriano Quillay flagged down a ...

Debate Discrimination - Houston Chronicle
We're glad to see Mayor Annise Parker finally stand up and propose a human rights commission that will provide local due process for victims of public discrimination. Parker told the Chronicle editorial board that she plans to release a formal version of her proposal within the next few weeks, but sometimes the process is just as important as the result. As the energy ...

Russ Campbell’s Blog: Bill C-23, Fair Elections Act Seems Now on Solid Ground
Now that a Senate committee has recommended nine changes to Bill C-23, Fair Elections Act, the legislation seems pretty solid. And, since Pierre Poilievre has, apparently, indicated privately that he's open to changes, an amended version of the bill will likely become law by this summer. We would probably have gotten to this point earlier had not the minister responsible for the bill ...

Why the Temperature of the Yellow Sea Is a Big Deal, and Other Questions About the South Korean Ferry Disaster
The boat ran into trouble several dozen miles from Jindo, an island that sticks out of South Korea's southwestern corner like a little toe. Jindo is surrounded by a group of even smaller islands that are slightly farther afield from the mainland. The ferry was curving around those small islands at the time it issued a distress call. What caused the disaster? We ...

Calgary stabbings: How knife crime in Canada can cause ‘moral panic’
What Calgary police chief Rick Hanson called the "worst mass murder" in the city's history didn't end at the barrel of a gun. Instead, the 22-year-old suspect identified on Tuesday as Matthew de Grood is accused of entering the kitchen at a house party, taking "a large knife" and using it to fatally stab four men and one woman, all of whom were students ...

New York Electoral College: State Joins National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
Ben Mathis-Lilley, Slate: New York Electoral College: State Joins National Popular Vote Interstate Compact. Instead of pushing for a Constitutional amendment, which would have to be ratified in 38 states, advocates ask individual state legislatures to pass an agreement: that they'll pledge all their presidential electors to the winner of the national popular vote as soon as enough other states pass the law to ...

The Insane History of Rockets at Jet Propulsion Laboratories
The Rocket Boys In the late 1930s, a group of Caltech graduate students were booted off campus after blowing up (part of!) their building during a rocket test gone awry. Unwilling to give up on the joy of semi-controlled explosions, the students and a few of their friends headed into the San Gabriel Mountains. They picked a deserted gully -- Arroyo Seco -- ...

 Frank says:

You see, when I was a kid I used to save up for a month, so I could get an R&B album and, the same day, the completed works of Anton Webern. Maybe that means something. Maybe that tells you something about my music. -- Excerpt from the book "Rock and Other Four Letter Words", copyright 1968.
