>You did this, Bryan. You will burn in Hell forever.

I know you’re just taunting him with his own superstitions, but don’t we play into the hands of the whole conservative-christian pathology if we act as if the imaginary hell that their parents warped them with is real.

Fear of a hate-god and his hell-punishment is what stunted these people’s development, causing them to fail to grow into healthy adults in the first place.

They grew up in a very different Christianity than the Christians who can engage with reality did, and I think the focus on imagined punishment from a tyrant god is the root of all the broken minds we see online, for example at #tgdn.

I pity Bryan, rather than despise him, because I understand he’s a product of his environment and can’t help but firmly believe all the ridiculous hate-filled garbage he spews. It truly sucks to be Bryan Fischer, though he probably doesn’t even know how much joy he’s missing because of his severe psychological damage.

Just a thought.

oh, and he was a very good-looking, sensitive kid, who I’m sure had a lot going for him. This is a loss to us all, and the fact that it was caused by a sickness that’s rampant in our society, which kills the good people who don’t have the mental-sickness, is absolutely revolting.

Fuck clinging to our horrible old ways.

I was bullied in middle school, and it sucked, but it stopped when I went to high school and made new friends.

When I read about children who are driven to suicide by bullying, I have no sympathy or pity for the bullies.

QFT. Really puts that WFB business of saying “Stop!” to progress into perspective.

My growth spurt happened Junior year, and I was mercilessly bullied before that in high-school. I got a lot of apologies when I showed up to school larger than my former-tormentors. I tend to feel sympathy for people who kill their bullies. I know it’s wrong, but I know they’re just stupid kids too, and I understand what they went through day after day after day for YEARS.

Those little bastards screwed me up severely, and it took me years to get emotionally well, but I don’t blame them. Kids can’t help but suck because of their undeveloped minds. I do blame adults who are still bullies, and always hope they get what they deserve. I know it’s not really their fault that they lacked the ability to develop into a responsible adult, and I know they don’t get nearly what I do out of life, but my prior experience with bullies causes me to hate them with the fire of a thousand suns.

Poor kid. We really need to do make it clear that bullying no matter what the reason should not be acceptable. It’s easy to say stupid platitudes like “man up” but words can hurt and hell sometimes can even come from our own relatives.

Adults have no clue how to handle bullying. My parents and teachers used to say “Oh if they laugh at you just LAUGH WITH THEM.” Fuck that.

I can never get warmed up to the fact that conservatives think of Buckley as some great thinker and hero.
