GlobalResearch is a far-left website that is no more reliable than WorldNetDaily. On the first page I found articles claiming that the Syrian Civil War is an American and Israeli plot to destroy Syria (at least 4 on this one topic alone), that the Srebrenica Massacre was staged in order to justify invading Yugoslavia, the American space program suffers from “ideological contamination” from Nazi scientists, and that “there is no difference” between “the US ‘justice system’ [and]… the ‘justice system’ of Gestapo Germany and Stalinist Russia.”

There are better articles and better sources for exposés on the US prison system.

Who says it can’t be both?

Who says it can’t be both?

It is both - slavery was the biggest business in America before the Civil War.

I thought the article was worth sharing. Rather than only giving a opinion on the site from which the article originates, why not link other articles from websites one would prefer. I’d be happy to read all that Lizards would recommend.

If you found anything specific in the article that was incorrect or biased, please point it out.

re: #4 FemNaziBitch

Well, here’s the very first result from a Google search for “prison labor”
[Link: www.huffingtonpost.com…]
I am wary about them citing RussiaToday as a source though.
Here’s a site that seems good: [Link: www.prisonpolicy.org…]

Hopwever, I was under the impression that we weren’t supposed to link to websites with these kinds of credentials, no matter what the article is about. GlobalResearch is just as conspiracy-minded as any of the sites we’re not supposed to be linking to and includes articles that border on outright racism like this one: [Link: www.globalresearch.ca…]

I was linking based on the article and knew nothing about the website. Please tell me if there is anything objectionable about the article.
