Bullied La Grande Teen Doesn’t Survive Being Taken Off Life Support

The teen attempted to hang himself Jan. 19 at an elementary school playground in La Grande, about 250 miles east of Portland.
A family friend, Bud Hill, told The Oregonian newspaper earlier this week that the boy’s family has always been very supportive of the boy’s sexual orientation. However, some classmates called him names, and he had complained about bullying to a school counselor.
