I think this was a big deal when VHS video renting first started to get big - what I mean is the new video renting trend helped make this movie a cult classic.

Samsara is directed by the same cinematographer of the qatsi trilogy but otherwise it is a different vision. I also caught it in 4K which really was stunning.
I was also lucky enough to see Koyaanisqatsi with Philip Glass and co playing the soundtrack live a few years ago.
