I’m not worried because the teabag party will rise up immediately and organize protests against this tyrannical abuse of power.

As someone on a disability, which wingnuts cannot differentiate from welfare, this fills me with horror.

I got to be homeless for a while thanks to assholes like this.

Wingnuts really believe that people go on welfare because it’s easier and more fun than getting a job.

They don’t even realize that people who work at Walmart have to take food stamps and Medicaid because Walmart doesn’t pay them enough to live on! Coming soon to a “Right To Work” state near you!

They really do loathe people don’t they? The abuses of the politicians and the wealthy be damned, we have scapegoats to blame for all your problems. Piece of the sky falls on you, it’s your fault. Now go away. We have some American Exceptionalism to sell here to a getting dumber by the minute congregation. F’ing toads. *spit*

North Dakota is really on a roll today.

This is the core ugliness that the RWNJs need to hide with the culture war BS.

They have to have an enemy. They have sold a vision of a lost America that never existed to a contingent that doesn’t know the GOP would cut their throat in a New York minute. Hide? They rejoice in it. They bathe in it. They are a pack of circling hyenas with nothing but pain and suffering for “those”, “you”, and “them” people. That I ever voted for a Republican candidate for anything makes me wonder just what the hell I was thinking.

They fooled me too. I guess they were better able to hide the fever back then

Anyone who can’t see a genuine slippery slope with regard to mandatory drug testing for receipt of any sort of public service, I’m a bit wary of.

I saw a pic of Eric Cantor’s visit to a pre-school in DC in which he was holding one of those “brown” kids, and I thought the same thing: Cantor will snatch the milk from the kid’s mouth while holding him in his arms. The attempt by republicans to rebrand themselves will fail because many of them cannot prevent themselves from showing their contempt for some of us through the bills they propose and pass in the states. It will also fail because they still have politicians like Virginia Foxx in their party who compares expecting for-profit colleges to be accountable to the Holocaust.

Incendiary rage.

I am walking away from the keyboard now, before I explode in cusses.

The argmuents presented in these commentaries have and will continue to shape legal decisions for the foreseeable future. Commentaries: New Issues in Gun RightsJoseph Blocher, Alan Gura, David B. Russ Campbell’s Blog: Will Trudeau’s Party Pay for His Ill-Chosen Words?
Justin Trudeau has talked himself into a defamation lawsuit that is likely to leave his party quite a bit lighter in the wallet. The shoot-from-the-lip Liberal leader and his Ontario campaign co-chair David MacNaughton are named in a $1.5-million libel suit filed on behalf of Christine Innes, a candidate who was barred from running for the Liberal party. Bubble Formulae
It's Spring, time to take play outside, and what child or adult doesn't like bubbles? If you are a photographer and need longer lasting bubbles, then use the formula further down the page with more glycerin. The Insane History of Rockets at Jet Propulsion Laboratories
The Rocket Boys In the late 1930s, a group of Caltech graduate students were booted off campus after blowing up (part of!) their building during a rocket test gone awry. Unwilling to give up on the joy of semi-controlled explosions, the students and a few of their friends headed into the San Gabriel Mountains. They picked a deserted gully -- Arroyo Seco -- ...

Women on Front of Bundy Standoff - the Latest From the Front
But the scene above took place four years before Monica, in 1994, long before Clinton handed his enemies a scandal on a platter that seemingly made such references acceptable. It was not at a Republican caucus or Christian Coalition meeting, but at a gathering of right-wing "Patriots" who had come to hear about forming militias and common-law courts and defending their gun rights ...

 Frank says:

For my taste, these solos (of some 50s blues guitarists) are exemplary because what is being played seems honest and, in a musical way, a direct extension of the personality of the men who played them. -- January 1977.
