Former senator Rick Santorum made a stop in Lubbock to support the Heartline Women’s Clinic.
Hundreds filled the Overton Hotel to hear Santorum, a pro-life advocate, give the keynote speech.
“I just really wanted to come out and help bless this organization that does so much good for women in Lubbock and really for families in Lubbock in general. And also to see Rick Santorum because I believe he is a great politician and a great conservative man who has done wonders for our country,” said Chase Tidmore, who attended the event.
Tidmore was excited to see one of his favorite politicians step out in support of Lubbock’s Heartline Clinic.
“Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice its just good to support people you know and I think that is the great thing about him. He is one that just supports families in general,” said Tidmore.
“This is a mission, a labor of love to try to save lives and hearts and souls and that is something that is worth getting out on a Sunday night in Lubbock to support,” said former Senator Rick Santorum.
