The latest I’ve heard is that she sneaked into the house to surprise him for Valentine’s Day and he thought she was someone breaking into the house.

That would be almost as bad as simple murder,and if she had informed anyone of her plans or there are text messages concerning her plans then he would be cleared. However that would never clear the loss for him and all concerned..just sad..

I’ve been following this. The latest is that the deceased had been shot four times in the head and chest. There was also a wound to the arm (or hand, depending which source you read). That’s a defensive wound.

This is starting to sound less like an accidental death, and more like homicide, in my admittedly armchair opinion. Mr. Pistorius himself has been charged with murder - not manslaughter - and police have stated they’ll oppose bail when he goes to court in Pretoria tomorrow.
