I wonder what these politicians will say when they find out they need to fund not only their Christian schools, but Yeshivas and Muslim schools.

I recall there was at least one Louisiana lawmaker who was upset to find out muslim schools qualified for vouchers. These federal proposals have no chance of getting through the Senate, or being signed into law by the President.

Exactly!! And I would have to say absolutely not! What part of separation of church and state do they not understand? I guess the Barbary Treaties(Treaty) holds not import for them also. Could you imagine the kerfuffle if an Atheist charter school asked for voucher funds. Anyway this voucher program is another failure too because fraud is too easy to implement and can sometimes be hard to detect and prove.

I really have a big problem with this. Taxpayer money shouldn’t be subsidizing anything to do with ANY religion. Period.
