EDITOR’S NOTE: In response to this piece, Lt. J. Paul Vance of the Connecticut State Police told CBS News that the investigation into the motive for the Newtown shooting has not been completed and therefore any statements about the shooter’s intent are mere speculation..

You fricking think?

What a typically American Story/ Tragedy -divorced Mom , into guns , has a kid just a little off , Dad really not into “dadding for him ” living with girlfreind . Junior spends all his time in the basement sharpening his skills with “shooting video games ” , even goes to shooting range with Mom . Ammo & semi-auto weapons with easy access - hard drives probably loaded with stuff , indicating a fixation , which should be a cause for concern on Mommy’s part .
[I don’t believe that there was no signs or telegraphing of trouble ]

Say what you will about their family dynamic and it’s effects on developing children, but the fact that Lanza had a single mom doesn’t mean shit, Aligarr…

So the fact that mom was a “survivalist” type that though the world was going to end so she better arm up to fight the zombie hoards had zero to do with it? But let’s harp on the fact she is a single mom. Gee, Obama has been shooting gun’s lately and is a product of a broken home…that explains it!

It doesn’t mean he was going to be a mass murderer, but it does mean he lacked a male authority figure in his family. And that might have made a difference in keeping him from going on a rampage. It’s not been proven as a factor, but its something to consider.

 Frank says:

The concept of the rock-guitar solo in the eightees has pretty much been reduced to: Weedly-weedly-wee, make a face, hold your guitar like it's your weenie, point it heavenward, and look like you're really doing something. Then, you get a big ovation while the the smoke bombs go off, and the motorized lights in your truss twirl around!" -- The Real Frank Zappa Book.
