Stated another way, students could make untestable, faith-based claims in science classes without fear of receiving a poor mark.

Yes, and then those same students could crash, burn and be laughed at by fellow students and professors when they try the same crap at College or University.

I honestly can’t believe these people and I’m a Christian myself.

Modern phylogenies place birds in the Theropoda clade, which technically makes them dinosaurs. Therefore, people and dinosaurs have co-existed throughout history, and the creationists you are mocking are factually correct.

It’s also ironic when parents serve dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets, on the theory that their kids will enjoy eating breaded lumps that look like a T-rex, while not telling them about the actual dinosaur meat under the breading!

And this is why we struggle to stay with other countries in science. Really, this is ridiculous.

When are these apes going to realize that the Flintstones was NOT an animated documentary!? These people should be jailed and the key thrown away!I just laugh at them they are complete idiots. One of our customers is a creationist who believes this and I made her look stupid one day and you could just see the stone gears in her head grind without lubricant as she tried her best to refute the facts.I feel sorry for her kids as she home schools them..Home schools produce Damned Fools!!

re: #4 Indepublicrat

Yes I brought up to her the very point that you make about birds and how EVOLUTION turned scales into feathers and asked her to explain it in her terms and I thought she was going to plotz right there! I’ts fun to to pummel these idiots with facts and truth and watch them squirm and sputter and leave in a huff.

A lot of them stay in the bubble by going to christian colleges which also teach yecism.

There Is No Such Thing Really as Professional Photographers
there's no such thing as Flickr Pro, because today, with cameras as pervasive as they are, there is no such thing really as professional photographers, when there's everything is professional photographers. Certainly there is varying levels of skills, but we didn't want to have a Flickr Pro anymore, we wanted everyone to have professional quality photos, space, and sharing." - Marissa Mayer, Yahoo ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

We know how to reduce the incidence of common medical conditions but …
Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer. And, shockingly, diseases that had in the past begun in old age are now appearing at much earlier ages. A groundbreaking scientific study showed how easily (and inexpensively) the rate of occurrence of these and other serious illness could be greatly reduced-- but this information ...
