Been trying to talk one of my sons into becoming a nurse. I have also been told they climb the ladder faster too :-)

Another good reason for unions and collective bargaining . If the workplace was fair , you wouldn’t need unions .

I spent most of my career on the management side, but my parents were union members (teacher and school nurse). You’re not hearing it from me, but unions do play a vital role in the labor market. There should always be balance in markets, and unions and regulations go a long way in keeping things fair. If either side gets too strong, it’s bad for that market and eventually bad for the economy.

I think the term nurse is outdated because nurses do more medical procedures than ever. I like medical technician or doctor’s aid.
