We The People will meet at the Capital Building in Washington DC to make a mass citizens arrest on every member of congress - both the house and senate, the Vice President and President for Treason against the United States of America.

trea·son - noun - ˈtrē-zən:
“The offense of attempting by overt acts to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance or to kill or personally injure the sovereign or the sovereign’s family”

They don’t realize that what they are suggesting is actually treason.

** If enough fellow Americans seriously want to go I can look into getting group discounts at local hotels.

They can get accommodations in jail FOR FREE.

I wonder how much this movement owes to Pat Buchanan’s “pitchfork brigades”?

Was that campaign the start of this - yes I know it was always present but now it seems almost mainstream in a way as if they have a hold of a political party (GOP) and while not fully embraced they now can sway the GOP into their world view?

Or am I making the wrong connections here?

Could be that or Nugent’s “Concord Bridge” ramblings, or Sharron Angle’s “second amendment remedies”, or Glenn Beck’s “take back America” paranoia, or Rand Paul’s “stand up to tyranny” whining, or dozens and dozens of other treasonous suggests made by the unhinged right.

I wish I could be there to see all of the patriots reclaim our country but I have to work that day. If you do it again on the weekend or a holiday I would be there in a minute. Thank you.

Wow, I wonder what would have happened if the American Revolution had such scheduling problems?

The PS: is priceless.

Also, there is no such thing as citizen’s arrest per say.

Any citizen can verbally tell someone who has committed a criminal act (in the citizen’s opinion): I am making a citizen’s arrest. Theoretically the *arrested* person is supposed to wait for a cop to come…but if the arrestee laughs and drives away the arrestor needs witnesses, license plate etc. If the arresting citizen attempts to detain that arrested person then we have a problem…..

If the arrestor cannot prove his case, the arrestee can sue the Citizen big time and the arrestor may wind up with big lawyers’ bills and even be brought up on criminal charges for civil rights violations or unlawful detention if attempted.

As a result, a Citizen’s arrest is not done very often.

To an outside reader skimming posts it appears that you support this, when we all know better because it’s filed under “wingnuts.” Outsiders aren’t likely to notice that. Shouldn’t you put a sentence or two in so people understand that you are illustrating the craziness of the right through example?

I envision someone showing up towing a trolly car filled with a “citizens grand jury”, with a gallows attached to the end. Orly Taitz, of course, would be the attorney for We The People, and Joe Arpaio could act as the hangman, assisted by Glenn Beck.

What fun.

Sounds like a hoot. And afterwards, we’ll meet up at Hooters for some buffalo wings and beer. Tell all your friends!

Be sure to RSVP so We The People will know whether they should reserve a table.

They ain’t gonna make it to Hooters for dinner, I’d venture. To quote what Jonah Goldberg said about Al Qaeda’s desire for a war between ‘Islam’ and ‘the infidels’ in October 2001: “If they ever get anywhere near what they want they will be very, very, sorry.”

I’d wonder how “We the People” expects to cope when they meet the police assigned to keep them out. I expect they’ll whine for a while, then slink home in defeat.

Could someone get Blimpy Limbaugh , Alex Jones , Mike Savage , and Hannity to lead this courageous charge up Bunker ..I mean Capitol Hill ?
They could get the Blonde Skirts from Fox to lure those Traitors out , ya know makin’ it easier to cuff’em .
They won’t have to worry about Nugent , once a draft dodger always a draft dodger , just dont be too close to him when he does his 4F routine .

Okay try to citizens arrest the president and vice president, and see to your shock that you’re being arrested yourself for attempting to overthrow the government. Idiots.

Pope Francis Says Atheists Who Do Good Are Redeemed, Not Just Catholics
Pope Francis rocked some religious and atheist minds today when he declared that everyone was redeemed through Jesus, including atheists. During his homily at Wednesday Mass in Rome, Francis emphasized the importance of "doing good" as a principle that unites all humanity, and a "culture of encounter" to support peace. Using scripture from the Gospel of Mark, Pope Francis explained how upset Jesus' ...

Holder: We’ve Droned 4 Americans, 3 by Accident.
In an extraordinary admission, Attorney General Eric Holder has told Congress that U.S. drone strikes since 2009 have killed four Americans -- three of whom were "not specifically targeted." For all the effort that the Obama administration has gone to in asserting that its drones only kill the people that the administration intends to kill, Holder wrote in a letter today to Sen. ...

WAPO’s Glenn Kessler Gives Three “Pinocchios” To Claim of Doctored Emails
It has long been part of the Washington game for officials to discredit a news story by playing up errors in a relatively small part of it. Pfeiffer gives the impression that GOP operatives deliberately tried to "smear the president" with false, doctored e-mails. But the reporters involved have indicated they were told by their sources that these were summaries, taken from notes ...

Obesity is on the rise-- as is the incidence of Heart Disease, Diabetes, Stroke and various forms of Cancer. A groundbreaking scientific study showed how easily (and inexpensively) the rate of occurrence of these and other serious illness could be greatly reduced-- but this information ...
