Hannity: Keith Ellison is the ‘equivalent’ of the KKK
Keith Ellison (D-MN), the first Muslim ever elected to Congress, has been a virtual punching bag for Faux News dating back to 2006 when Glenn Beck asked the newly elected Ellison, “Sir, prove to me that you are not working with our enemies.”
Well after Ellison humiliated poor-little Hannity on Tuesday and called him a GOP-shill and “the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen”, Hannity went on a smear offensive against Ellison Thursday night by implying that the Muslim Congressman is a racist and an anti-Semite.
“This is really serious, in as much as Farrakhan, one of the most divisive figure in our culture, rabid anti-Semite racist,” the Fox News host asserted, adding that Ellison also had ties to black militant Khalid Muhammad.
Hannity said that Muhammad wanted to “kill the women, everything white that’s in sight — kill the women, kill the babies, kill the children, kill the old people.”
If linking Ellison to someone who he said wanted to kill “everything white” wasn’t enough, Hannity then suggested that Ellison was the “equivalent” of the Ku Klux Klan, a white supremacist group.
“Do we have somebody then in Congress that is the equivalent on one side what the Klan is?” Hannity asked. “Because I view the rabid rantings of Khalid Muhammad as frightening.”
