I find it funny when religious people miss the point of their own religion about the brotherhood of man, etc.

Next week, fan favorite Jesus makes an appearance. No spoilers on how his story ends! Since this is on the History Channel I am pretty sure Jesus will be shown to be an alien half breed whose mother Mary was abducted by aliens and impregnated on a UFO.

Was Samson black? Some people apparently hope not! “The Bible” series airing on The History Channel has some people perturbed. After the second part of the 10-part series aired Sunday, March 10, some viewers seem to be having fits that Samson was portrayed by a black man.

You mean American Christians. I am pretty sure Coptic Christians and Palestinian Arab (and Arab Christians in general) kind of figured out Jesus looked like they did more or less.

So Sampson is portrayed by a black actor. How would it possibly matter? He could have well have been black. Either way, how could it have an effect on the story? Jews have run the gamut from pale skinned red-heads like King David to black (members of the tribe of Dan plus converts like Tzipporah) from the beginning. We still do. He was a great Judge and leader because of what he did; and his failures also had nothing to do with how he looked.
