“Legendary singer”? Is that supposed to be a joke? Other than making safe whitebread covers of black R&B groups recordings, what did he ever do?

Marxism seems to be good for Wall Street record breaking profits if that is the case…..

A long time ago I was recording Day of The Triffids from A&E to Betamax (Piracy! Arr Matey). I wound up with an hour of Pat Boone saying ridiculous things in the middle of the recording. Maybe it was a problem at the head-end, or maybe Pat Boone is one of Satan’s minions and put himself on the tape.

The legendary pop/gospel singer and avowed conservative appeared on Fox Business News on Wednesday night, joining Neil Cavuto to give his expert opinion on the deficit fight and sequestration.

I guess Boone’s also a ‘legendary economist’. ///

Like Clint Eastwood, Pat Boone is getting cranky in his old age.

re: #2 William Barnett-Lewis
These days he may be better known for his cover of “Dick in a Box”

Oh, uh, that’s definitely NSFW. But it is definitely Pat Boone.

Pat Boone described as legendary? Hell no. He was a hack singer even in his heyday in the 50s when he was covering African-American jazz/blues and early rock&roll musicians. He’s a serious birther and also a major-league bigot who regularly writes for WND.

Johnny Cash was legendary.
Buddy Holly was legendary.
It can be argued that individuals like Roy Orbison, Frank Zappa, and Freddy Mercury were legendary.

Boone? Not so much.

Song thief. Wingnut. At least the real version of “Long Tall Sally” made it into the early helicopter scene in PREDATOR…

Pat, I doubt the president gives you much thought. “Oh, Pat Boone is speaking out against my policies. Didn’t I hear that he did a CD of metal covers, I bet that was a riot.” Really dude you’re just not that important.

What was that about stuffy old white men?
