Oh, and rather than actually place women in positions of leadership within the party, they plan to just pluck a few pretty faces to put in front of the cameras.

Well, why not? It’s worked wonders for Fox News.

Fewer facts? How can they come up with fewer facts than we’re already getting from them?

Republicans and facts. Name two things that don’t go together. Its more like Republicans and a bunch of made-up bullshit.

The GOP continues to assume everyone in America is as dumb as their base.

No, fewer graphs and charts. It is a fact that math tends to appeal more to men than women on average.

As a man is it safe for me to ask if you have any graphs or charts to prove that assertion?

do you buy the idea that women can’t do math?

I have a degree in math and have spent most of my career in statistics. My current job requires MAKING GRAPHS AND CHARTS.

Fail.

The following people might beg to differ:

List of female mathematicians

Some examples of note:

Ada Lovelace

Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace (10 December 1815 – 27 November 1852), born Augusta Ada Byron and now commonly known as Ada Lovelace, was an English mathematician and writer chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage’s early mechanical general-purpose computer, the Analytical Engine. Her notes on the engine include what is recognized as the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine. Because of this, she is often considered the world’s first computer programmer.

Hedy Lamarr

Mathematically talented, Lamarr also co-invented—with composer George Antheil—an early technique for spread spectrum communications and frequency hopping, necessary for wireless communication from the pre-computer age to the present day

…so yeah, if it weren’t for those women who could do math n’ stuff, you wouldn’t have the means for posting that sexist rubbish in the first place 9_9

That is the big mystery, isn’t it? Maybe the plan is to not display the lies on graphs and charts, but to just use the Fox News technique of having talking heads simply consistently lie blatantly.

The real problem is going to be convincing GOP politicians to stop saying what they really think out loud. With the rise of the delta minus tea baggers to prominence in the party, I’m not sure that’s even possible.

I will admit to using an interpretation that wasn’t perfectly accurate for the sake of humor. The problem with your, umm, foolish statement is that if it were true then charts and graphs would be the visual, easy to understand way to convey mathematical concepts to us poor females.

I don’t know what good they think ”softer language” is going to do for me, my daughter, and other women when they’re busy as hell legislating all up in our vaginas. Actions speak louder than words, and we’re not as stupid as the GOP thinks we are.
