This needs a picture.

Did I mention that he’s the Republican Majority Leader?

Of course, he’s deeply religious.

He serves as the Music Director at Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Duncan and as a member of the local gospel singing group, Unity.

That was such a NON-APOLOGY. I had something similar happen while on active duty in the Navy. I was the only Jew in a training squadron in Mississippi. The CO was from Texas. He was explaining how, when he went to a meeting of the Chief of Naval Air Training, how he was able to “Jew down” the Pilot Training Requirement for one fiscal year from 45 to 36. He then stopped, looked directly at me (along with the nearly 100 officers in the ready room), and said something to the effect that “I think we’re going to be having a talk about this later?” I just said, “Yes sir,” like the good junior officer I was. I realized that what he did was based on his culture and that he didn’t mean anything negative by it, but he also realized it was in poor taste, and his apology was heartfelt.

This “person” (and I use the term loosely), didn’t want to apologize. He opened his mouth, inserted his foot, and by his continuing statement further shoved his foot into his mouth.

Vicious Babushka

I’ve got to admit, I’ve never heard this one before.

This is a very common saying and is used interchangeably with the equally offensive “gyp”.

He could just as easily have said “they might have gypped me on a price”.

I think the only difference is that if he had, almost no one would have pointed it out.

Not only is he an ignorant Stay Puft man, he is actually advocating for corporate mega chain stores by pretending to be for small business. What a weasel.

No offense. but I was more offended by this obvious bullshit statement this Republican made about how “small businesses could buy merchandise at lower prices than large retailers” than I was about the slur used. Does the GOP pass all laws based on bullshit that sounds truthy? It’s a whole ideology based on truthiness. Does the intended audience for these Republican bullshit points ever catch on? You mean not one voter would listen to a man tell them that somehow small businesses can buy cheaper wholesale than large companies that buy in megabulk quantities and not challenge it? Seriously? I am fucking offended at this obvious violation of economics here.

After a few more moments of rambling about how small businesses could buy merchandise at lower prices than large retailers,
