It is rather interesting to watch Apple’s slide and read the speculation about what Cupertino needs to do to turn itself around.

Granted, Apple is still one of the most profitable companies in the world, even if it has lost more value in the past several months (nearly $300B) than most corporations are worth.

Doomed I tell you, doomed! Time to fold up the awnings and sell off the assets. Never mind that Apple has recently united both software and hardware design under the brilliant guidance of Jony Ive. Pay no mind to the market share and sales facts for all of Apple’s products. This company is done for.

Buffet’s advice is still good. They should use some of that cash pile to buy back stock while the price is (relatively) low, and otherwise ignore the market types and just do what they do.

Maybe, but an iWatch and an iTv, plus another version of the iPad mini and iPhone doesn’t show much innovation going on to me.

Still, Microsoft is still in business, and doing well financially, even though the stock price hasn’t moved in over a decade, so I imagine Apple has a long coast ahead of it while it tries to figure out what to do next.

Do you seriously think Apple has laid all it’s plans out on the table for all to see? The so-called iWatch and iTV are nothing more than speculation by pundits looking for clicks at this point. It always makes me laugh when people judge Apple’s innovation or lack thereof based on the words of link-bait punditry. Just because you are unable to imagine what Apple may be innovating right now doesn’t mean that the design team at Apple is suffering from the same lack of imagination.
