A Florida woman was accidentally shot in the jaw while riding in a sport utility vehicle late Sunday. She was part of a group of gun enthusiasts on their way to a shooting range when a firearm accidentally discharged, hitting the woman, said Florida Highway Patrol (FHP).

The FHP said that the incident took place near Northwest 12th Avenue in Miami on the Dolphin Expressway. No charges were filed and the woman is expected to recover. Her name has not yet been released.
