Not everyone responds to trauma/stressful situations in the same way. I recall that I had made up my mind that I wouldn’t make a complete screaming tool of myself before my labor pains began, and I didn’t. Same thing happened when our house was damaged by a tornado in 2008. If I hadn’t kept my head, there’s no telling whether any of us would have survived the event. It was my level-headedness that got us to a safe interior bathroom. It made no sense for all of us to be screaming our heads off and running around in circles, not when the wind was blowing at @ 100 mph and battering our house. Some of us know that getting overly emotional about certain things doesn’t make it easier for us to endure them.

Yea I’d like bucket head to explain how she can tell if someone is in shock or not by looking at a picture.

Symptoms of Shock

The most common symptoms of shock include:

An extremely low blood pressure
Feeling weak or nauseous
Chest pain
Fast but weak pulse
Profuse sweating
Dizziness, faintness or light-headedness
Moist, clammy skin
Unconsciousness
Rapid, shallow breathing
Feeling anxious, agitated or confused
Blue lips and fingernails

OMG! The victim’s fingernails weren’t blue! I could tell! NOT.. SHOCK!!

When I was a kid (maybe 8?), I got both of my legs stuck in the wheels of a lawnmower and nearly had them broken. My grandfather was there, and he wasn’t injured.

I was actually the calm one there. He was freaking out.

I guess that was a conspiracy by Obama too.

Then, my first gut reaction seeing the horror of that person that had their legs blown off… you know, with the bone sticking out? And he was not in shock. I looked and I thought there’s something… I don’t know what’s wrong, but it seems surreal to me. I talked to my sister, who’s not into politics at all, and she said, “Yea, I saw the same thing.” He was not in shock. He was not in pain. If I had had those type of injuries, I’d be screaming in agony.

About “shock,” could you please look that word up? I don’t think it means what you seem to think it means.

When someone is in a state of genuine shock, as opposed to “synonym for surprise,” their feelings and awareness get very numb. The subject in shock would either pass-out or become unresponsive. That is what real shock is like, you ignorant tinfoil hatter.

One of the most extreme cases of information disease I’ve ever seen. She’s literally had so much junk information shoveled into her brain that everything new that comes in is warped by her perception.

Sad, when someone clinically insane can hold public office. Sadder is that there are enough people in her district sharing the same illness to vote her into office.

I’m more than a bit confused. Is she saying that this guy came all prepared with moulage makeup to simulate his leg injuries? That when the bomb went off he then took advantage of the confusion to make himself up and nobody noticed?

I would love to be a fly on the wall inside her head to watch her thought process work. (I bet that it looks like something that Rube Goldberg would be proud of).

She would be laughable, if the implications of her lack of a rational thought process weren’t so GD scary.

I would love it if some superpac made a list of every stupid thing done by a Republican Representative, or legislature over the last 10 years and used them all during the next election.

Hell I’m tempted to start that superpac myself.
