JAPs

No, KIDs. (And that was completely uncalled for.)

As to their behavior, I am sure that there will be video of the whole thing showing who was doing what when.

While one or two cell phones won’t impact anything, who knows what 100 cell phones on a multitude of devices and networks will affect electronics. I have a hard time believing that there is much to this because otherwise, airlines would require people pack their cell phones. That said it is a rule.

My nightmare scenario of air travel: being on a plane with 100 teenagers.

From my understanding, it was not all 100 kids, it was just a few, but the entire group had to leave the aircraft.

I think the school was irresponsible for organizing such a large group, they should have split the outing into 4-5 separate excursions.

no pretty sure it’s called for., guess you’re not from an orthodox Jewish family.

WTF?!

Oh obviously there could never ever be a chance the aircrew over reacted to a mere annoyance or short delay. Nope never happens.

There’s this thing about airline pilots and sea captains—they get the last word. There’s probably a reason for that.

The kids were out of control, and that they were booted from the flight reflects poorly on them and the staffer/chaparones who should have told them to cut out the nonsense.

The same thing could have happened with any other high school group, but it happened to be this particular group.

Don’t doubt that the kids got a stern talking to over this. I’m embarrassed for them and the yeshiva.
