House GOP ‘Highly Unlikely’ to Accept Path to Citizenship
House Republicans stepping closer to the edge may jump, and take the entire GOP down with them.
It’s “highly unlikely” that a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants can win a majority of Republican votes in the House, a veteran GOP congressman said Wednesday.
“I think at this point that would be highly unlikely,” Rep. Tom Price (R-GA) told reporters at a breakfast organized by the Christian Science Monitor.
