The Death of an Evil Man: KKK Edition
WHAS11 news has learned the man who once headed the largest Ku Klux Klan group in the United States has died at the age of 64. Jeff berry spent time in prison for holding a WHAS TV news crew hostage in 1999.
Jeff Berry created the American Knights of the KKK In Butler, Ind. He wrote a book called “Under the Hood”. WHAS TV reporter George Sells and photographer Heidi Thiel were kidnapped and held hostage at gunpoint while interviewing Berry about his book.
