Who’d a thunk that Ricky would become part of the “You Didn’t Build That” crowd?

Sounds great Rick, but it doesn’t change the fact that you’re still a theocrat. Wake me up when a Republican politician repudiates Ayn Rand while also not believing that the Bible should be the law of the land.

He’s actually right about this but it doesn’t take away from the fact that his ideas of important issues are limiting a woman’s right to choose, limiting the existing rights of LGBT citizens, and pretty much making this a tough place to live for anyone who’s not a conservative Christian. Anyhow, if he’s planning to go populist, I don’t think that will work for him. He’ll probably be a strong competitor but the GOP nominee is often than not someone popular with that crowd he spoke of. So they will nominate someone more populist than Romney (not saying much I know) but more corporate than Santorum.

I want to see a Santorum Bachmann ticket in 2016 so I can feel the earth move on election night as the entire GOP TP crashes into the ground at 900 MPH. Please.

And just maybe picking a nominee who isn’t an out of touch elitist with show horses and a car elevator might help the GOP reach out to their base of undereducated crackers.
