More: Pat Buchanan Panics at News of ‘Demographic Winter of White America’

When we read the news yesterday that, for the first time in American history, more white people are dying than are being born, we knew that a racist Pat Buchanan column could not be far behind.

And we were not disappointed. Buchanan uses his syndicated column today to lament “the demographic winter of white America” and suggest that rather than “pander” to people of color, the GOP should instead impose a moratorium on all new immigration in order to stop “what mass immigration is doing to the country demographically, ethnically, socially and politically.” -

Here are some especially choice comments from Buchanan….

Mitt Romney won 59 percent of the white vote, a 3-to-2 victory over Obama among America’s majority. In any year before 1980, that would have meant victory. But in 2012 whites were only 74 percent of those who went to the polls.

Because after all, in the Good Old Days, that was really all that mattered.

America’s white majority, 64 percent of the population and 74 percent of the electorate, still declining in relative terms, has begun to decline in real terms. Deaths outnumber births. Among all U.S. births in 2012, white babies were outnumbered by babies of color.

Lets get those white women back in the bedroom making us up some babies. (and sandwiches too).

The demographic winter of white America is at hand, even as it began years ago for the native-born of old Europe.

In political terms, this is depressing news for the Republican Party. For nearly 90 percent of all Republican votes in presidential elections are provided by Americans of European descent.

In other words, the problem is simple…. we need to either get more Americans of European descent voting, or find some way to keep those “Not really REAL Americans from voting

Just waiting patiently for the GOP to disavow the statement, but will we know that won’t happen.
