Boy Fatally Impaled on Statue Outside Texas Tech’s National Ranching Heritage Museum
What a sad story
A 14-year-old boy died early Saturday morning after becoming impaled on a bull statue’s horn at the National Ranching Heritage Museum.
The incident occurred at about 3 a.m., said Chris Cook, director of marketing and communications for Texas Tech.
Texas Tech police said Miguel Martinez was with two adults and two youths at the museum. He was playing hide-and-seek when he ran into the bull.
