Merging of corporations and religious institutes into personhood. What could go wrong? We are going to find out that’s for sure.

So no company has to follow a law with which the CEO disagrees? Interesting legal philosophy.
I guess that means that clinics owned by people who have no problem with abortion don’t have to follow Texas’ regulations?

A person, who can not go to jail. Who does not need clothing or shelter.
Who does not need food or breaks or a job- whose very existence creates income. Who need not worry about abortions, or familial rights.
A person who requires no citizenship to worry about imigration, will never need the healthcare industry… (And theoretically, can never die.)

If we are to all to be susceptible to the laws based on a corporation’s degree of personhood. We won’t need rights to healthcare, welfare, or even safety standards.

Wait. I think I just defined how the far right wing and some Libertarians intend on changing America. Redefining legal personhood.

They’re just gorram sovereign citizens when you distill it.

Disgusting.

I would like to see churches repudiate this notion that a corporation is a human being, or, alternatively, to make themselves a laughing stock by arguing that corporations are people in the eyes of God. What sort of soul does a company have?

In the prosperity gospel, the soul of a corporation is doubtless identified with its balance sheet.
