If the NSA was only gathering the Metadata for a “small %” of the calls in the US and if Metadata can not cause any harm then why has the President lost the majority of the Demcorat Causcuses in both the House and the Senate on this issue?

Got a hint for you. The Budget has to go to a Conference Committtee between the House and the Senate. Will he lose a majority of his own caucus on those votes and depend upon the Republicans to pass it? No, because they wouldn’t. So I think that these 111 Democrats in the House and the 23 Demcrats in the Senate might prevail on this issue this year.

The President and his allies, the Roberts’ Kagaroo FISA / FISC Courts and the Republican leadership are all together on this one.

Pathetic.

This amendment was attached to a defense appropriations bill written by Republicans that would have prevented the closing of Guantanamo Bay. Liberal representatives who voted for this were idiots, being played by the right wing and the insane libertarian wing of the left.

Again.

Well, we know that 111 Democratic House Members and 23 Democratic Senators can’t be as smart as those of us at LGF since they obviously all think that what Snowden says is true. I mean really, they are going to let expire, a perfectly good provision of the Patriot Act for nothing. Morons. Idiots.

What a waste of good seating by putting Wyden and Udall on the Senate Select Intelligence Committee. I mean they sit through all those secret meetings where all the people who are obviously as smart as LGF posters, tell them that the programs works and Wyden and Udall are silly enough to still claim that they don’t . And then, just to show how stupid they and how stupid they think that we are, they are willing to show us all the results and let us decide for ourselves.

Wow, you guys make me feel so good to be a part of such a group of thought leaders.

This amendment had nothing to do with Guantanamo Bay.

This amendment had nothing to do with Guantanamo Bay.

Yet the overall bill did.

And how many of those 111 House Dems and 23 Senate Dems are up for reelection next year in red states? How many are burnishing their anti-Obama records in the hopes that they can convince voters in gerrymandered districts that they’re really totally against him and won’t ever vote to support him if reelected?

I figured folks would have been disabused of that notion after so many red state Dems came out as being “against” the Affordable Care Act back in ‘10.

Why do you think the FISA/FISC courts are ‘kangaroo’ courts? You realize they don’t actually try people in those courts, right?
