The Courier & Press identified the officers as Darin Clifton and Jason Clegg, whose report says that Madison “flipped” them off after he ran a stop sign.

Even if Madison DID “flip” them off as they claim, there is absolutely nothing illegal about doing that that would warrant handcuffing and threatening with a taser.
Flipping Off Police Officers Constitutional, Federal Court Affirms

Given the fact that Madison is a public servant who has the direct telephone number of the police chief, and apparently is known for his community service, I’m highly suspicious of the officers’ version of what transpired here.
Hopefully the in-dash cam doesn’t yet again fall victim to “technical difficulties” like is the case so many times when police brutality accusations are made.

It’s a shame that the firefighter didn’t have a gun and shot the two cops, he had every right, legally and morally, to do so, and then you have this crap:

“Some things are not going to change until Jesus comes,” Arnold pointed out. “You’re always going to have that one bad apple unfortunately.”

No, it will stop when a dozen or so communities rise up and violently overthrow corrupt organization like this police department.

Why the hell is the President of the local NAACP chapter so calm about this and not enraged about it? Why isn’t he out organizing massive protests? Why isn’t he out organizing citizens to take video of cops everywhere they are?

As a former resident of Evansville, mixed race marriage and at one time the white guy in the men’s choir at Memorial Baptist church I can assure you Evansville is a city with a serious racism problem. Memorial is a bastion of reason speaking up for rights of everyone with calmness and restraint.

No, he doesn’t have the moral right to kill two people over this. What the fuck.

re: #5 Absalom, Absalom, Obdicut

He was in the process of being forcibly imprisoned and threaten with serious bodily harm, he had every right to self-defense in a situation that he could not retreat from. In addition, almost every state gives the right to citizens to use deadly force to stop an illegal and unconstitutional arrest/detainment by police.

Everything Malcolm X said about political change has turned about to be true. And everyday we have a news story like this, and those are only the people that come forward and the MSM is willing to report. At what point will people say enough is enough and defend themselves?
