The article is chilling enough…but even more chilling are the comments. It’s always been hard for me to think of even the worst Americans in our brief history as outright evil. But I don’t know what else to call this. It is truly horrifying. It can indeed happen here…the groundwork is already being laid. These people are Nazis already, in their minds and their hearts, and they’re no longer on the fringe or in the shadows. They are out and proud.

Ye gods. Anti-white? Ironically, they’re the ones that are emulating, in a funhouse mirror, minority interest groups they hate. Can’t wait to see what kind of racist spokesmen they claim speaks for the white man.

I would try to debate logically with them, but it’s utterly impossible. They seem to think the way to avoid becoming like other countries is to become like them. How do you break through to people with such twisted pretzel logic? “The USA will only maintain its uniqueness by copying other countries that severely restrict immigration and by maintaining a homogenous culture.” No, that’s a good way to become everything the USA is NOT supposed to be.

The article mentions ‘White Rabbit Radio’.

That’s Stormfront. They’ve been aggressively targeting Tea Party groups and meetings since about 2009, viewing the Tea Party movement as fertile ground to promote their WS/WN beliefs. They figure that they can transform the TP movement into a White Nationalist movement.

Sounds like they’re succeeding. As White Nationalism and White Supremacy becomes more and more a part of the political discourse on the right, it’s only a matter of time before the mask (or in this case, the white hood) comes off.

‘It’s worth noting that in Walt Kelly’s comic strip, Pogo, Joe McCarthy’s character (Simple J. Malarky) puts on a white hood before escaping the swamp.

He put out a book making fun of the birchers and far right at the time. It’s pretty shocking to see how much of it holds up.
