NJ’s Lonegan a Big Bryan Fischer Fan
In an interview with The Record on Thursday, Lonegan defended his appearance on Fischer’s radio show and dismissed the Southern Poverty Law Center’s classification of Fischer’s employer as a hate group.
“The Southern Poverty Law Center is a left-wing, liberal, atheistic hate group themselves,” Lonegan said, adding that the radio program “has a reputation for representing Christian values and the Bible. I’m not sure if I know exactly when that became a bad thing.”
That hard-line approach could all but seal his fate in a state that has 700,000 more registered Democrats than Republicans.
