Can’t argue with the logic.

Mostly because there isn’t any.

Usher argues that if same-sex marriage is legal then women will marry other women and have children with men …

Wait… wasn’t Usher the guy who determined that the Earth was created in 4004 BC?

Were there lesbians back then?

The Derp is strong with this one. My favorite ssm conspiracy theory is that its an evil plot by liberals to destroy the family so that the government will have absolute power, because once ssm is legal it will so trivialize marriage that heterosexuals will quit getting married. I told the wingnut that even Dr. Evil would think that plan was stupid.

I’ve run into that argument myself. I simply nod in agreement with them, and say yes, we need to defend marriage, and the only way we can do that is to strictly forbid divorce, because that is what the greatest threat to marriage is. Then I just watch them implode.

We’re all dumber for having read that. This is a movement that knows it’s losing and is trying to throw any shit that they think can stick.

A very simple and religiously conservative remedy for this ‘lesbian conspiracy’ is for men to keep it in their pants except with their wives. Why am I not surprised that conservatives would rather lash out at gays than demand personal responsibility of men?
