Hey, wasn’t she Bush’s press secretary?

If Dana doesn’t like separation of church and state, well, she doesn’t have to live here either.

makes me wonder… does she expect atheists to start their own nationalist movement?

What the hell happened to Bob Beckel? I never liked him as a pundit but listening to him mumble through this segment and agree with Perino is just pathetic. Makes me so happy I stopped watching the news channels.

Always remember: “You have the right to leave!”, as Twain would say, has an implicit demand on you: “You have the obligation to leave. You have the duty to leave.”

That has worked well in several nations throughout history and there are old ethnics who can tell you how it went. It’s funny how the people staying behind in “their” country were no happier than before they had these other people leave.

But seriously, FU Fox News. I always take offense.

Something that these so-called #1 followers of Jesus never think about is that Jesus never forced anyone to embrace Christianity. If they did what they are supposed to do, they’d leave people alone. They’re always trying to impose their brand of Christianity on others, which, according to the New Testament and Jesus’ teachings is wrong. Christianity is a voluntary, not a mandatory, religion, and I’m sick of the Dana Perinos saying otherwise. What they are are Dominionists who want to convert the U.S. into a theocratic government that will operate under their rules. There’s not much daylight between the Dominionists and the Taliban, imo.

Seems fair. I’m an atheist and I’m tired of Dana Perino.

How could he? When he was alive there was no such thing as Christianity. Jesus was a Jewish rabbi. He certainly wasn’t trying to create a new religion.

That came later, mainly through the efforts of Paul, a man who never met Jesus.

Perino’s directive is a sure sign of an immature mind. The problem is that a herd of immature minds can have big impacts if they’re startled and start to run. Hence the switching out of the national motto E Pluribus Unum for the fearful In God We Trust. This nation had originally placed and expressed confidence in the joining together of American minded people but Congress was stampeded by fears of the commies into hiding behind “God’s” skirts.
I hate it when at County public meetings the leaders stand up and pledge allegiance to a piece of cloth and an invisible sky god. Where in the Constitution does it say we have to take loyalty oaths? How dare they diminish my contributions, 40 accumulated years of unpaid service, and character to this country because I don’t believe in their fantasies.
