Such fantasies are based on the idea that ‘good people’ need only show up with their weapons and the ‘left wingers’, being pacifist pansies, will kneel down meekly to be shot.

A failure to understand your enemy is a sure road to defeat. Just look at Mr. Beck’s philosophical ancestors in the Axis of WWII.
