Yeah businessmen don’t exploit people. What a crappy piece. When a wealthy businessman chooses to make all his employees part time because he doesn’t want to bother having ot pay for their benefits just so he can pocket an extra million or so, he is exploiting his employees. This mindset that Binswager and many like him have that the rest of his somehow owe the very wealthy is a very repulsive and reactionary way of looking at things. I want a system where we all have the chance to become successful not a system like Mr. Binswager where the rich stay rich and the poor stay poor.

Better yet, why do they think it’s good policy. I look at Costco and contrast it with Wal-Mart. Both companies make large profits but only one of those pays their employees a decent wage and provides them with benefits. Henry Ford, whom the writer of the piece mentions knew that it was important to have your employees also be consumers of your product. By paying your employees a shitty wage, you don’t do that.

Henry paid his workers twice the typical wage of that day, because he didn’t want them to jump ship as soon as a better offer came along, and also he wanted more customers to buy his products.

Walmart’s business plan is to sell the cheapest shit in the world to people that they treat like shit.

I’m really not seeing how this fool’s logic is supposed to work.

We literally sign over our lives to the elite, spend most of our best days slaving away for them. Our taxes purchase the roads they deliver their goods on, the military that protects our peace, and the legal system that protects the rest of us from simply cutting their throats in the middle of the night and taking everything they have.

Yet, we need to give them more? Harry, I’ve only got a few things left to give you rich assholes, and they’re all shaped like fuck you.

It’s not a parody. This is pretty conventional ‘thinking’ for a Randroid.

Harry is way too conservative. Its not enough that we eliminate taxes on the holy job creators, at whose feet we parasites should be worshipping. The government ought to be taxing us to give them money, so that they can create even more jobs to bestow on us, even though we don’t deserve it.///

From a macro point of view, one could say this is already happening on a massive scale, where defense contractors etc. provide some jobs, while their executives skim off the big bucks.
