Fox News Analyst: UN Arms Treaty Is ‘World Government’ Plot for ‘Controlling All of Us’
On Wednesday, Secretary of State John Kerry signed the Arms Trade Treaty, calling it a “significant step” for securing global peace. The treaty would track the sale of tanks, combat vehicles, combat aircraft, missiles and small arms.
However, many Republicans and pro-gun groups like the National Rifle Association (NRA) insist the that the U.S., which is the world’s largest exporter of firearms, should not ratify the treaty because it could also stifle the Second Amendment rights of Americans.
Napolitano began a Fox & Friends segment about the Arms Trade Treaty on Thursday by debunking the notion that the right to keep and bear arms could be curtailed.
“That is guaranteed in the Second Amendment, and a treaty cannot trump an expressed guarantee in the Constitution,” Napolitano explained.
But the discussion quickly veered into conspiracy theory as host Brian Kilmeade interrupted: “Until we get that world government.”
“But you know what, Brian, the people that are behind this treaty want that world government,” Napolitano insisted. “And in their minds, this is a step toward it… Eventually controlling all of us.”
